Adopt a film!
For the fourth year you have the possibility to adopt one of the films shown at Mezipatra. Though there is a registered partnership, gay and lesbian couples in the Czech Republic still don't have the option to adopt children. So adopt a film at least! Choose a film according to your heart's desire from the Mezipatra festival catalogue and contribute (a minimum of) 500 Kč to its projection in Brno or Prague.
Through your financial support you will help us not only to present your chosen film, but you can also affect social opinions and influence the beliefs of people around you. People can better understand, learn and perhaps even help thanks to the films that reveal openly the real world of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transpeople... Give the majority the chance to understand and perhaps next time you could become adoptive parents to more than a film!
How to become an adoptive parent?

If you want to support a non-profit festival and become parent to a film, all you have to do is chose a film from the festival programme and send a minimum of 500 Kč to account No. 153432736/0300 at ČSOB. We would welcome it greatly should you decide to contribute by a larger amount. Please choose any combination of numbers as a variable symbol.

Once you've done that just send a brief e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., stating the name of the film you've chosen and the variable symbol you chose. In this way we will know for which film you sent your money and will send you a receipt by e-mail.

It is up to you only whether leave your name or perhaps just a nickname. We will have free tickets to see your film ready for you (according to your choice of Brno or Prague) and before the showing itself we will - if you wish - publicize the names of the adoptive parents, to say thank you. If you wish, your names will remain unpublished.

If you wish we will issue a confirmation of donation, so you can subtract the donation from your tax.
