The Closing ceremony was again directed by Janek Růžička and moderated by Ester Kočičková, who picked up where she left at the Opening and appologised for the "unwelcome gesture towards the President". This time, she was assisted by the moderators of Q magazine. The awarding of winning films was succeeded by Harry Baer's introduction to R. W. Fassbinder's last film Querelle. Mr Baer, the legend's assistant, offered a Q&A after the screening..

The closing party of 8th Mezipatra took place on 10th November in Valentino Club. It was also a celebration of the Prague's biggest gay club's birthday. Music by DJ Tvyks, The Voracious a Fanclub Deejays (Belgium).

John Greyson was one of the main guests of the 8th edition. He did Q&A's to all of his films, which were presented in a special retrospective profile. John Greyson's retrospecitve was held under the auspices of H. E. Mr Michael Calcott, Ambassador of Canada to the Czech Republic.

The German filmmaking legend Ulrike Ottinger visited Mezipatra on the 6th and 8th November, presenting two out of five films, included in her retrospective profile.

The Goethe Institutu hosted four lectures on representing queerness in film. The speakers were Skadi Loist (Germany), Vina Yun (Austria), Gundula Ludwig (Austria) and JohnGreyson (Canada).

Mezipatra in Prague on Monday 5th November in the Světozor cinema. The Opening ceremony was directed by Janek Růžička and hosted by "militant queer dyke" Ester Kočičková, a famous (and straight) moderator. She, assisted by an art student Veronika Neumannová, presented a friendy gesture towards Mr President.

Od 13. září do 2. prosince 2007 probíhala v berlínském Filmovém muzeu rozsáhlá retrospektiva díla Ulriky Ottinger. Nejvíce queer filmy z její tvorby přinesly českým divákům a divačkám 8. Mezipatra. Berlínská přehlídka kromě projekcí všech filmů obsahovala i výstavu fotografií Ulriky Ottinger, přičemž fotografie doplnily i filmové exponát, jako například kostýmy z filmu Úchyl Orlando nebo originály Ulričiných scénářů.

Mezipatra in Brno ended on Saturday 3rd November with a Closing Party in the Mersey club.

Mezipatra presented a selection of the Q magazine produced by Czech Television. Its makers came to Brno to discuss the programme with its audience. A day later the festival introduced John Greyson to Brno. John Greyson presented his film Uncut, the Q&A touched upon most of his films in the retrospective profile.

On Monday 29/10 Café Sausalito in Brno hosted the opening of Vladimír Novotný's exhibition "Terorist". The same day featured a screening of Dolls, accompanied by a Q&A by Petra Ušelová, the screenplay writer.

The 8th edition of Mezipatra was opened on Friday October 26th. The ceremony included a performance of The men's singing ensemble of extreme folklore Beauty. This day also hosted the opening of Herbarium #1 exhibition.
