Festival photos.
Ozvěny letošních Mezipater zavítaly do rekordních čtyř měst: Olomouce, Českých Budějovic, Bratislavy a Českého Těšína.V Olomoucu filmové přehlídce předcházela party v klubu Diva a vernisáž putovní výstavy Historie gay a lesbického hnutí v ČR.
Závěrečný večer v Lucerně moderoval Radim Špaček, který předal ceny dvěma vítězům a tu třetí si málem odnesl sám...Ceny z dílny designéra Zdeňka Vacka získaly tři snímky. Přečtěte si výsledky zde .
Každý večer mohli návštěvníci Mezipater zajít po filmech do klubu Friends, kde byl pro ně připraven program v podobě after-parties: DJ Tvyks, DJ Henriette, karaoke, hudební klipy...
Letošní ročník Mezipater poprvé představoval filmové projekce ve čtyřech kinech dvou měst současně - v Praze to byla kina Světozor a Lucerna. Sehraný tým připravil pro divačky a diváky nabitý program.
Hlavním hostem letošních Mezipater byl německý režisér Rosa von Praunheim , který osobně představil svoji tvorbu. Diváci a divačky mohli v průběhu festivalu vidět výběr z jeho tvorby a jelikož ta čítá na čtyři desítky snímků, v kavárně kina Lucerna byla také připravena výstava plakátů Rosových filmů.
V Praze uvítala Mezipatra řadu zahraničních hostů - porotce, režiséry i účastníky odborného workshopu pro organizátor/k/y LGBT festivalů. Mezi českými hosty byli tvůrci a tvůrkyně magazńu Q a pan Milan Hein, umělecký ředitel Divalda Ungelt a protagonista dokumentu z cyklu Třináctá komnata.
Ve středu 6. listopadu se Mezipatra přesunula i do Prahy. Pražského zahájení se osobně zúčastnila i ministryně Džamila Stehlíková. Po úvodním ceremoniálu a zahajovacím filmu Písně o lásce následovala party v Mramorovém sále Lucerny.
Those, whom did not fit the party program in Fléda, certainly did not forego this year’s festival party in stylish and partially reconstructed gay and friendly club Red Cat, with the performance of Prague travesty group HANKY PANKY. Besides friends and familiar people you could meet Helena Vondráčková, Naďa Urbánková and many other stars of both domestic and foreign pop scene. Red Cat resident DJ played for both listening and dancing.
As each year, the part of the festival “Mezipatra“ were also discussion evenings, this time in Cafe Sausalito.
Another accompanying exhibition of this year’s festival “Mezipatra” started in the Cafe Sausalito with the presence of the author. Martina Uhlířová (1984) studied for two years textile design in the Secondary Technical School of Textile in Brno, four years the illustration by prof. Paverl Dvorský in the Secondary School of Art Handicraft in Brno, winter and part of summer semester by doc. J. H. Kocman in the atelier of paper and book in the Faculty of Architecture and Arts of Brno University of Technology. Now she studies in the atelier of inter-medial confrontation by prof. Jiří David in Prague Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design. She herself says to the exhibition: “The collection of made-to-measure textile bags. For my friends. What should I do, I like them, they are mine. Heaven, hell as well as paradise. They have these three words mixed in the character, moods as well as taste. Their temperature is the bonus, not advantage, not disadvantage. They are mine. I would not like to change them.“
And after the fashion show, presented by the moderator couple Aneta - Jakub, music tornado followed. Over 500 spectators firstly giggled to “singing” and witty texts of rap “hen” duo Čokovoko, later excelling with harmonious movements with groove/funky performance of Prague group lo Fidibus or accompanying with the dance DJ Liquid A and the projection of vj.kombajn, as well as DJ Tomáš Kelar, who did not hesitate to put rainbow beads around his neck on this particular occasion... At bar, on the screen and photograph of Libuše Jarcovjáková it was possible to compare how gay party looked more than 20 years ago.
This year’s festival party took place, after a longer period of time, in the most popular Brno club Fléda. Its opening belonged to Brno fashion designers. Pavel Jevula and Petr Kalouda, whose works this time dressed selected users of the server iBoys.cz, who were given the unrepeatable opportunity to become the models on this unique fashion show.
We also thank these Magnificent Seven for staying till the evening and not losing the bravery immediately after the introductory application form - hopefully they liked the party, too:-)
The vernissage of the photographs of Libuše Jarcovjáková – T-club started with the introductory word of Evžen Sobek, guardian of Galerie Artistů, and with the presence of Ms. Džamila Stehlíková, minister for human rights.

This year was held for the first time on the occasion of the festival “Mezipatra” trade fair of artworks. In cooperation with iBoys.cz and art schools were addressed the authors from the whole republic and the selection from their works was exhibited in the Galerie Trojka, on the sale exhibition “Mezipatra mezi okny”.
We would like to thank to all 14 invited authors for the participation and we hope that they liked the atmosphere of mutual meeting as we and visitors did...

Here it comes - for TV stations in the vestibule, purchasing in our queershop, queues of viewers in front of the entry to the auditorium, filling-in of nearly all seats, festival director watching the watches in the expectation of the arrival of the minister Ms. Stehlíková, a couple of babbles of moderators, warning of festival director that the following year he would ask for patronage the minister of transport (minister Ms. Stehlíková finally cancelled her trip turning her car back to Prague on the grounds of the impossibility of the traveling along the highway D1), and the festival was opened...

Especially two decades of the movement for equal rights of gays and lesbians in the Czech Republic maps the running exhibition including photographs, period documents, gay magazines as well as the broadcasting from the Parliament of the Czech Republic during the negotiation of the law on registered partnership.
Neither the minister Ms. Stehlíková (on the grounds of time reasons) nor the author of the scenario Jiří Hromada could participate in the opening. Nevertheless, pleasant atmosphere and interest of guests predominated on the festive opening - both eyewitnesses and the younger ones...

Let there be light... And there was light. This Mezipatra edition trailer was shot on a sunny August day in Prague based studio Eallin. Shot and directed by Janek Růžička, the author of the super-successful 2005 trailer featuring kids with ducks. This is all we disclose for now, stay tuned ... And check out our previous trailers .
