Tomáš BaldýnskýTomáš Baldýnský (*1972) is a film publicist, journalist and screenplay writer. He wrote for the Reflex weekly, magazine Novinky.cz and daily Lidové noviny. He is also one of the three writers of the satirical comics Zelený Raul, published in Relfex. From December 2006 till March 2008, chairperson of the State Fund for the Support and Development of Czech Cinematography. He leads the writers’ team for the television series Comeback. |
Tereza Brdečková
A novelist, essayist, journalist and translator. Born on 10th February, 1957 in Prague. In
1977–1982 she studied editing at the Prague’s FAMU. After 1989 she
worked for a short time as a script editor of Barrandov Studios (1990-
1992). In 1991 she was the program director of the International Film
Festival in Karlovy Vary. In 1999 – 2003 she was a program director and
later (2004 – 2006) the head of programming of Febiofest. In 1995 she
received the literary fond award, Stříbrná křepelka, for the best
cultural publicist. She lives in Prague and Berlin. |

João Ferreira
Born in the Algarve in 1973, he currently lives in Lisbon. Degree in
Design, and a Masters in Theatre Studies at Lisbon University, where he
defended the thesis “Poor Superman – Queer Masculinities in American
Gay Theatre”. Trained as an actor at IFICT. Director and Programmer of
Queer Lisboa – Lisbon Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, since 2004.
Professor of Playwriting at Coimbra University since 2006. Was part of
the Jury of the Teddy Award, and Bilbao and Turin LGBT Film Festivals. |

Manuela Kay
Born (1964), living and working in West-Berlin. Chief-editor of the
lesbian lifestyle magazine L-MAG since 2003. Focus in her work: film,
sexuality, lesbian lifestyle. Co-author of the first German queer film
guide “Out im Kino”, released Feb. 03. Other books: “Schöner Kommen”
(2000), lesbian sex manual and “Diese Liebe nehm ich mir” (2001),
lesbian guidebook. Formerly
part of Panorama section of the Berlin International Film Festival and
its queer filmaward Teddy. Programmer and co-organizer of the
International Porn Film Festival Berlin. |

Ivo Procházka
Psychiatrist, sexologist and gay activist. He founded the Gay
social-therapeutic club in 1988. He was a member of National committee
for AIDS during 1992-2007, during 1995-2004 spokesman of NGO Forum of
the HIV/AIDS sphere. Since 2007 he has been a member of government
working committee for sexual minorities. Author and coauthor of many
publications such as Coming out, Homosexuality, AIDS and Society,
Social discrimination of lesbian women, gay men and bisexuals in the
Czech Republic, Sociolegal control of homosexuality. |
