Vizuální identitu festivalu tematicky laděnou k tématu vysokého umění již tradičně určuje grafik Jan Kolář. Hlavním motivem je postava anděla, který je po staletí ikonickou součástí vysokého umění. Zároveň je andělský motiv také ironickou reminiscencí kýčovitě snové queer estetiky. Při bližším pohledu je idylická podoba narušena zjištěním, že anděl nese černá křídla i svatozář. Zpodobnění křídel jako strohých černých linek odkazuje k motivu filmové pásky a cenzury, se kterým Kolář ve své práci pro Mezipatra pracuje.
With each edition of Mezipatra we want to contribute to deconstructing the mindlessly accepted truths, to thinking about the relationship between the private and the public and to connecting the minority and mainstream. We named this year’s topic, with slight irony, High Art and we examine it through films and a accompanying programme. This gives us the opportunity to talk about our favourite topics: art and the construction of values.
The Main Jury judges competition films and gives the Main Jury Award for The Best Feature Fiction Film.
The Student Jury judges short films and gives the Student Jury Award for Best Short Film.

Queer Film Festival MEZIPATRA is a specialized competitive film festival focusing on gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer related films. The aims of the festival organized on a non-profit base are to promote quality human-interest films and contribute to the emancipation of gender minorities in the Czech Republic.
