Student Jury
The Student Jury judges short films and gives the Student Jury Award for Best Short Film.
Ondřej Gášek
A 26 years old graduate from the Film School Zlín and a student at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno. He presently works as a sound engineer /for film and television/. He is the author of the experimental project ALEF, which from the music point of view ranges from industrial, ambient, downtemp, to trip hop and techno. He works under the same pseudonym he uses as a video jockey.
Lucia Kajánková
She is in her third year of the two-subject master degree studies of philosophy and film studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the Charles University in Prague. She cooperates externally with the cinema Aero as a lecturer of the film introductions. She finished the bilingual program at the grammar school in 2005 with the project “Homosexuality as an accepted and unaccepted way of living in Slovakia”. In her studies she focuses on the queer theory and queer cinema.
Roman Kollarik
He deals with “queer” themes, with losing and leaving normality, crossing the borders, horizons and the identity politics in the sexual and gender context. He has a space for working on this also at the standards institutes of the master and doctor degree studies in Bratislava.
Daniel Pošta
Born on 7th June 1984, he has spent all his student life in Prague. He is in his third year of studies of the Interior and Furniture Design at the Academy of Arts Architecture and Design in Prague. He has worked on several interesting projects – he, together with Libor Motyčka, won first prize in the Deutsche Post World Net, Exhibition Design 2006 and was placed among the 10 finalists in the competition for the students of art universities, Absolut Elements 2007. He created a concept of the installation of fashiondesigners.cz on the Designblok 07, etc.
Anna Purkrábková
Presently in her third year of film studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the Charles University and in her first year of studies of production at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
